Processr.IO™ DNP3 BRIDGE

Processr.IO DNP3 Bridge Application Design Notes:

• This application has been designed to provide transparent translation between remote Site Sentinel® DNP3 “Listen” mode outstations and the upstream Legacy “Real-time” mode DNP3 SCADA systems.
• The application acts as a “bridge” that shadows each DNP3 I/O object and completes a one-for-one translation between protocols.
• Support is provided for automatic bridging / translation of all Site Sentinel® logger devices and supports the complete DNP3 I/O map contained in our products.
• The application runs as a service and is suitable for deployment on virtually any Windows operating environment.
• The application provides extensive logging and diagnostic support.
• All remote Site Sentinel® DNP3 data is also available as static data objects using Modbus TCP slave.
• Automatic DNP3 Time Sync is supported and the time source is derived from the time server / source that the Host machine is using.  Support is provided for conversion of the current system time into GMT which is typically used in DNP3 system deployments.
